Okay, allow me to explain why I'm so annoyed.(although ~CadienteJ, ~Yuri-Blaze, and ~lilith-angel09 know why..they were there too..

It all happened Last night/this morning. (...literally, the whole thing started at like 11:45...and lasted until like way after midnight...)

Well, I had just gone to bed because I was tired at it was like around 11:00, so I managed to fall asleep for awhile, but I was woken up by the fire-alarm going off.

As any person who hears a fire-alarm would do, I slightly panicked, not exactly knowing what was going on. Just was trying to get the heck out of there, (so In the panic, I left my shoes in the room.) and followed everyone else outside to the parking lot.

So, all of us got to stand outside in the parking lot, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. I mean there was no fire, we didn't see or smell any smoke. (well, we did temporarily, but It didn't smell exactly like smoke that a building being on fire would have.)

Campus security came up, (and yet...the fire-department never did...eventhough this was not a fire-drill...geeze that makes me feel safe..) and they went into invesigate.

Well, they found out what had happened...and gave us the all clear to go into the building. (They could shut off the fire-alarms, but they couldn't shut off the smoke-dectors, which go off whenever the fire-alarm is pulled) So, actually going back into the room was pointless, because the noises were too loud.

The quiest place in the whole hallway was in the bathroom. Sure you could still hear the smoke-dectors going off, but it wasn't as loud as if you were actually in the room. So, like ~Yuri-Blaze, ~lilith-angel09 and I almost had a camp out in the bathroom, because it was the most realativily quietest place on the 2nd floor.

Finally the smoke-dectors stopped making noise, and so the three of us kind of just hung out for awhile, too awake to actually make attempts to go back to sleep.

It wasn't until later, that we overheard what had happened from some girls who were walking by, on their way out of the dorm.

What had happened did not make us happy to hear. Some guy on the 2nd floor had pulled the fire-alarm, and that's why it went off. (I don't say that he pulled it as a joke, because I don't know that for certain, he could have stummbled and accidentally pulled the alarm, trying to catch himself before he fell, so I don't know if he did it as a joke.)

So, we ended up spending a little more time talking, to other people in the hall. (...I discovered that oddly when the fire-alarm went off, I became a considerably more social person..)

...did a little spying on the people still out in the parking lot talking,

and so it was like 1:30 before we ever actually went back to our own rooms and went to sleep.

and so that is why I'm annoyed, someone pulled the fire-alarm....with no clear danger present, scared the heck out of us all....making us all lose some sleep. (I'm sure a lot of people weren't too trusting of the alarms after this incident, like I was, so they were skeptical about going to bed.)
