Adam- The Black Frog

(Dulcea) "Adam? Adam what's wrong?"
(Adam) "I'm a frog."
(Dulcea) "Yes a frog...like the one you kiss to get a handsome Prince."

I actually finished this a few days ago. I had a little break in my homework, so I thought, why not work on some things that need to be done?

I finished this one before I started working on [link] , but for some reason I posted it up here before I posted this one up.

Anyhow. This one was a little difficult to do, because I was afraid the picture was going to get lost among the black background. I considered making most of the glow effects into a dark purple because of this, since a lot of the times in the show, the black-ranger power either is purple, or a kind of grayish black.

As you can see, I eventually settled on the grayish black.

The Frog emblem is a little screwed up looking, It is just how I drew it.

I actually like my shading and highlights on his hair. it was a little bit difficult to figure out how to distinguish his hair from his ninja hood, but I think I did a pretty decent job.

For the quote, I was debating whether to put the conversation between Adam and Dulcea from the movie, or put the line from the 3rd season, when they're all receiving their ninja spirits from Ninjor that Adam says, which is "I am the Frog, Courageous in Spirit" (or was it "Courageous of Spirit." or "Courageous and spirited?" I dunno....I guess that's why I didn't go with it.)
